A school at Sasthamangalam was envisioned by Sri Arambil A G Krishnan Unnithan early in the 1940s when there was no schools nearby. Raja Kesava Das NSS School became a reality, in the name of the mighty Divan of Travancore who worked for the manifold development of the Nation. In 1942 June 4 th the school became functional in a rented building with around 100 students.
